Late November: What to do?

Late November: What to do?
scroll

The leaves have all fallen. It's starting to get cold, but yet not quite time for snow- and all the skiing, snowboarding, and sledding that will soon come along with it.  Many guests have asked me what there is to do this month, particularly when it is cold & raining when one really would rather NOT be outside.

While you can always find outdoor activties in the area,  I wanted to shout out to some of the indoor activities this month.  There are museums fueling an acquired taste in every direction from the Stone House. MASS MoCA is always a great choice to find some neat event going on as well.  There is also a host of other entertainment.

For instance, this weekend alone  The Berkshire Theatre Group features a variety of great events at their venues ranging from tributes to Van Morrison or Sinatra, to the 'apocolyptic pop group' And the Kids.  Also this weekend, The Berkshire Concert Choir in Pittsfield is performing The Music of Mozart.

Movies are always great!  Independent Images Cinema in Williamstown and The Beacon in Pittsfield are great and both close to several great museums and good food.

Last one I will mention looks fun and festive! Ward's Nursery in Great Barrington has a make your own Thanksgiving Centerpiece class this weekend- and in general always has perfect holiday items to make your home extra special for the season. Always worth the stop.

There are some great outdoor festivties celebrating Winter coming up... but I will save those for another day where we are dressed a little warmer and less in denial that Winter is here.

Cheers,

Michelle
