One of my favorite activities with my kids is 'pick your own’ at the local farms. Pick your own apples, pumpkins, strawberries, blueberries, lavender, local flowers….whatever the season brings I love to pick it! </p> <p>If you would like to go pick this fall, apples and pumpkins are everywhere. Let it inspire your next cooking endeavor such as an apple crisp or an indulgent baked pumpkin mac &amp; cheese. YUM. </p> <p>These are just a few places I highly recommend for an October visit.
