It’s got a funny energy that way.

I contribute all that, and rightfully so, to my mom.
This was her place.
Without her, none of us would have ever been here.

The leaves have all fallen. It's starting to get cold, but yet not quite time for snow- and all the skiing, snowboarding, and sledding that will soon come along with it. Many guests have asked me what there is to do this month, particularly when it is cold & raining when one really would rather NOT be outside.

Open House Oct 29

Next week, on October 29th, I am having a festive open house from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This is to celebrate all the lives the house has been a part of thus far-as well as all the new ones to come.

I hope you can come by and see the hard work both my mother and I have put into the house through the years, and the new love and care I have put in over the past two years to make it the fun, warm, comfortable, and special place it remains today.

Fall is absolutely my most favorite season.

There are things to do in every direction, and no matter which way you go, the drive from the Stone House is beautiful. One of my favorite activities with my kids is 'pick your own’ at the local farms. Pick your own apples, pumpkins, strawberries, blueberries, lavender, local flowers….whatever the season brings I love to pick it!
